Poetry Event: 2016 Poetry Out Loud

Poetry Out Loud is a national recitation contest where high school students perform their interpretations of works they’ve chosen from a diverse list of over 2,000 poems. The annual event was created by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation. The winner selected at this event will represent the New York City region at the state finals in March.
