Join Alexander Vreeland, grandson of the legendary fashion editor Diana Vreeland, for a conversation with student curators of The Museum at FIT’s exhibition The Women of Harper’s Bazaar, 1936-1958. Mr. Vreeland will present his new book, Diana Vreeland: The Modern Woman, which covers his grandmother’s nearly three-decade tenure at Harper’s Bazaar and her creative collaborations with editor-in-chief Carmel Snow and art director Alexey Brodoitch, as well as her work with photographers such as Richard Avedon and Louise Dahl-Wolfe. This event is presented by students in the School of Graduate Studies’s Fashion and Textile Studies: History, Theory, Museum Practice MA program, who created the exhibition as their final project. A book signing will follow the presentation.

This event is free, but registration is required; click here to register.
