Anne Finkelstein Part of Cross-Disciplinary Program at Transit Museum

Anne Finkelstein, Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design, will participate in an upcoming installment of Platform: Creative Musings on Mass Transit, the New York Transit Museum’s series of cross-disciplinary programs. (Read an article in The New York Times about the series here.) This one-night-only event will feature a number of artists from different disciplines, including live performance, music, photography, projection mapping, and improv; Finkelstein will be given an entire vintage subway car to use as a gallery to fill with her work, which has often included photo montages of New York’s subway stations.

The event, Platform, takes place Tuesday, April 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at the New York Transit Museum at 99 Schermerhorn St., in downtown Brooklyn. Tickets are $15; $10 for museum members. (The promotional code PLATFORM5 discounts $5 off the ticket price.)
