Richie Narvaez Featured in The New York Times

A workshop by Richie Narvaez, English and Communication Studies, titled “Creating Strange New Worlds: How to Write Science Fiction and Fantasy,” was spotlighted in The New York Times weekend roundup. Narvaez, a member of the Mystery Writers of America – New York, is the author of Roachkiller and Other Stories.

The free workshop, held at Hostos Community College, was part of the Bronx Council on the Arts initiative “The Bronx Reads.” The initiative was created to address a lack of bookstores and book discussion groups in the borough, as well as to foster a greater awareness of the works of local authors.
