Marjorie Silverman Presents at Experiential Education Conference in Montreal

Marjorie Silverman, chair, Internship Studies, gave a poster presentation titled “NYC: A Playground to Engage Overwhelmed Students” at the 2017 International Conference of the Association for Experiential Education (AEE) in Montreal on November 10. Experiential education is a philosophy that informs many methodologies in which educators purposefully engage learners in direct experience and focused reflection in order to increase knowledge, develop skills, clarify values, and develop people’s capacity to contribute to their communities.
