Harvard Publishes Peer-Reviewed Article by Kelly Burton

Kelly Burton headshotKelly Burton, International Trade and Marketing, wrote “Reducing Textile Waste in the Apparel Industry: Examining EPR as an Option” for the inaugural issue of the International Society for Sustainable Fashion, a peer-reviewed journal published by Harvard University.

Burton, an adjunct instructor in the ITM program and with Continuing and Professional Studies, is currently pursuing graduate studies in sustainability at Harvard University. In 2013, she launched EcoSessions, a global event platform connecting industry, designers, and citizens to discuss change. Since its launch, over 50 events have been held across 10 cities on topics ranging from innovations in textiles, fashion and sustainability, nontoxic beauty, ethical retailing, and fashion in Africa.
