EAP Lunchtime Seminar: Breaking Bad Habits: Creating Good Ones
April 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The FIT/UCE Employee Assistance Program presents a lunchtime seminar titled “Breaking Bad Habits: Creating Good Ones.”
How many times have we told ourselves that we will stop doing something that has not served us well, and then continue to do it? How many times have we made a healthy goal for ourselves but not stuck to it? This “habit” is in itself self-defeating, demoralizing and gets you nowhere. Whatever stories you tell yourself about the reasons for these behaviors is probably not accurate. In this workshop we will get to the real reasons, and give you specific strategies to institute the changes you have always wanted to make.
This workshop will address:
- The science of habit formation
- How to reverse bad habits, create and stick to good ones
- Steps to address the roadblocks that hinder goal achievement
- Developing an action plan to get started
Please RSVP to [email protected] if you plan on attending. Handouts will be provided. For additional information, please call the EAP office at (212) 217-5600.
Funding for EAP programs is provided by the Student Faculty Corporation.
This event is for FIT employees only.
