Embellishment of Hanbok: A Workshop

FIT students and faculty members are invited to participate in a workshop with Dr. Minjee Kim, a costume historian, and Haeja Koo, a master artisan dealing in Korean intangible cultural property, from South Korea. Participants can apply for a scholarship opportunity of Hanbok Advancement Center, Korean Craft and Design Foundation. Materials will be provided by the Hanbok Advancement Center.

This event is part of a series. Also see Aesthetics of Korean Dress, Hanbok, and The Soigne and Sustainable: Hanbok for Future Fashion. The series is sponsored by the History of Art and Fashion Design departments, the Asian Studies minor, the School of Liberal Arts, the Asian Student Network, and the Office of International Programs.
