Lecture: Patagonia’s Worn Wear Repair Team

March 2, 2017 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

As part of its company commitment to sustainability, Patagonia has created a group dedicated to repairing worn items instead of throwing them away called the Worn Wear Repair Team. As part of this mission, the team has been on a tour of colleges, teaching students about the concept of zero waste and how to bring new life to old, discarded, or damaged garments.

The Worn Wear Repair Team will share stories from their college tour and other ideas at a lecture on Thursday night, March 2; a Q&A with team members will follow. On Friday, March 3, they will be repairing items (any brand) from 10 am to 5 pm on the Breezeway.

This event is part of  Sustainability Awareness Week. Click here for more information.

This event is for the FIT community only.
