Talking Trade Panel: New Era of Global Sourcing

From mass retailers to luxury brands, panelists at this event—presented by the Jay and Patty Baker School of Business and Technology, the Department of International Trade and Marketing, the Gladys Marcus Library, and the online trade publication Sourcing Journal—will discuss how each sector of the fashion market sources its products. Panelists are Karen Murray, president of Sportswear Coalition at VF Corporation–Nautica, Kipling, and John Varvatos; and Trent Janik, vice president of sourcing and manufacturing at Kate Spade. The moderator is Edward Ertzman, founder and publisher of Sourcing Journal. This event is part of the International Trade and Marketing Department’s Talking Trade at FIT series.
