Film and Media Screening Series: Jennifer Reeves

Tuesday, December 1, 6:30 pm
Pomerantz Center, Room D207

As part of the Film and Media program’s monthly film screening series, Jennifer Reeves will show and discuss four short 16mm films that represent her wide range of visceral methods and modes of expression. Color Neutral is her most recent abstract hand-painted film; He Walked Away is the first of Reeves’s multiple-projection films made for live music performance; Strawberries in the Summertime and Monsters in the Closet are examples of Reeves’s hybrid documentary-fiction-memoir films that tell personal stories through optically printed imagery and layered collage soundtracks. There will be a Q&A after the screening.
