Richard Peña, director emeritus of the New York Film Festival and professor of film studies at Columbia University, will give a talk on modern trends in Latin American cinema and screen The Swamp (La Ciénaga). The event will be hosted by FIT professor Mario Valero and is sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures and the Film and Media program.
