Elaine Maldonado, director of FIT’s Center for Excellence in Teaching, presented at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching‘s Annual Summit, in San Francisco. The presentation, “Faculty Development: Evidence-based and Faculty-driven,” shared key CET initiatives with educators from across the country. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching is committed to developing networks of ideas, individuals, and institutions to advance teaching and learning. The event, held March 27-29, was the fourth annual Summit on Improvement in Education, and was attended by over 1,200 educators.
