FIT Launches a Site to Spotlight Its Own Authors

FIT Authors, a website at, is a collaboration between the Faculty Senate Library Committee and the Gladys Marcus Library to showcase the scholarship and creativity of the FIT community, and to promote the library’s collections. Each semester, the committee collects submissions from authors in the community (faculty, staff, and alumni) to create informative profiles.

The library features these authors and their works in a rotating display and hosts FIT Authors events twice a semester. On the site, readers can find author profiles, invitations to associated events, and a list of publications, which range from children’s books, memoirs, and crime novels to reference works, textbooks, and art books.

For information on how to be showcased on the FIT Authors website, please contact the Faculty Senate Library Committee stating your interest, and please reach out to donate a copy of your book to the collection.
