Rob Norman, Fashion Business Management, was recently celebrated by the Brooklyn Nets basketball team for Black History Month as a designer and retailer who has promoted the Brooklyn community through the company he founded, Planet Brooklyn Academy. Norman has a strong partnership with the Nets, designing the uniforms for the its dancers and collaborating on capsule collections with the basketball team for sale in its Barclays Arena retail store.
Norman, who is an FIT Graphic Design ’94 alumnus, was presented with an official Brooklyn Nets jersey, and a short film was created celebrating his contributions. See the video below or on Planet Brooklyn Academy’s Facebook page.
