C.J. Yeh and Christie Shin, faculty members of the Creative Technology and Design subject area in the Illustration and Interactive Media department, were honored with two 2021 UCDA Design Awards. The Remote Learning Playbook received a Silver Award in the special publication category; the Remote Learning Hub received an Awards of Excellence in the Website Design category.
The UCDA Design Awards recognizes the best of the exceptional design and creative work done by communication professionals to promote educational institutions and supports the exchange of ideas and information relating to the unique role of these creatives. In 2021, there were only eight Gold Awards, 24 Silver Awards and 178 Awards of Excellence out of 632 entries.
