Bob Fisch Graduate Student Award Program
Robert (Bob) Fisch, founder and former chairman and CEO of rue21, and a member of the FIT Foundation board of directors, has launched the Bob Fisch Graduate Student Award Program. The program, which includes a $300,000 gift and an intergenerational mentoring strategy, features an award for entrepreneurial excellence, thesis project grants, and graduate scholarships for students in FIT’s Fashion Design MFA and Global Fashion Management MPS programs.

Wes Gordon Honored
In September, the Couture Council of The Museum at FIT honored Wes Gordon, creative director of Carolina Herrera, with its 2021 Couture Council Award for Artistry of Fashion at Cipriani South Street. The luncheon benefited the recently reopened Museum at FIT (MFIT), and raised nearly $700,000.

Virginia Bonofiglio, assistant professor, and Stephan Kanlan, chair, Cosmetic and Fragrance Marketing and Management, were the honorees at the 2021 Fragrance Foundation Circle of Champions.
