A Yearning for Perfection

Join a conversation between Tom Bronk (b. 1944) and John Paul Jang (AHMP ‘22). In his Op Art paintings, Bronk explores ratio, linearity, and symmetry. His diagnosis of late stage Parkinson’s disease, uncontrollable shaking, and loss of balance does not stop his yearning for perfect geometry in his paintings.

John Paul Jang is the senator of the Art History and Museum Professions program and co-founder of the Artchive series. She has volunteered to assist Bronk in his painting procedure.
