Book Talk and Signing: Sustainable Fashion: “What to Wear and Why”

cover of What to Wear and Why bookOn Monday, Sept. 9, at 5 pm, please join the library in our Special Collections reading room (Room E435) for a New York Fashion Week book talk with What to Wear and Why: Your Guilt-Free Guide to Sustainable Fashion author Tiffanie Darke and Museum at FIT curator Elizabeth Way. A Q&A and book signing will follow.

Tiffanie Darke has spent most of her career in fashion as an editor, journalist, author, creative director, brand strategist, campaigner, and, most recently, shopkeeper. She has worked for the Daily Telegraph, the Express, and Sunday Times Style, and was editor in chief of Harrod’s. She is an alumna of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and a member of the Oxford University Climate Action Network. She works with more than 70 fashion brands on sustainability and is based in London.
