POCreatives, student recipients of an FIT Collaboration Grant, curated the exhibition For Someone Who Looks Like Me, which provides a platform for students of color from any major to show their work. A companion documentary of the same name will be shown on a loop as part of the exhibition. In the film, four FIT students who are creatives of color share how their cultural backgrounds influence their creativity and the issues they face as people of color in their respective art fields.

When POCreatives wrote their proposal for the Collaboration Grant, they ultimately wanted to create a space for people like them⁠—creatives of color⁠—to be seen.

This exhibition is free and open to the public.
