NYCJW: From Shoppers to Sellers: The Effects of E-Commerce on the Jewelry Business

NYC Jewelry Week logoEBay kicks off New York City Jewelry Week with a breakfast and panel discussion “From Shoppers to Sellers: the Effects of E-Commerce on the Jewelry Business.

Join the Head of eBay Fashion Nicole Colombo in conversation with Dominique Hollins, head of eBay Diversity and Inclusion; Channing Hargrove, Refinery 29 fashion news editor; Delphine Leymarie, founder of of Delphine Leymarie Fine Jewelry; and Robert Bates, JCK news director.

Topics will include how platforms like Instagram are impacting the e-commerce model, the growth of sustainable jewelry practices, the importance of diverse jewelry designers to today’s consumers, and the ways that online retailers are using AI and machine learning to help small jewelry businesses.

The day starts with a breakfast at 9:30, followed by NYCJW 2019 opening ceremonies with Fern Mallis and NYCJW founders Bella Neyman and JB Jones, followed by eBay’s panel discussion at 10 am.
