Globally Connected @ FIT is back for fall 2024 with “Meet New FIT Liberal Arts Faculty Members: Hear About the Global Aspects of Their Research.”
José Blanco, History of Art
José is an associate professor in the History of Art department. His research focuses on dress and popular culture in the second half of the 20th century, with an emphasis on men’s fashion.
Dianne Bellino, Film Production
Dianne is assistant professor for Film, Media, and Performing Arts. She makes narrative films, both live action and animation, in which the everyday meets the irrational, mysterious, and unknowable.
Christine Ballesteros, Math
Christine is an assistant professor of mathematics. She holds a master’s degree in actuarial science from the University of the Philippines and a PhD in computational mathematics from Tokyo Metropolitan University, where she specialized on the efficiency of implementing cryptographic pairings over hyperelliptic curves.
Globally Connected @ FIT is hosted by the Office of International Programs, History of Art, and the Cultural Fellows.
