Graduate Studies Invites: South Asian Fashion Designer Panel

The FIT School of Graduate Studies and the master’s program in Global Fashion Management invite you to hear six Pakistani and Indian fashion designers, fresh from their fashion show at Christie’s, discussing South Asian fashion, art, and culture through the fusion of traditional customs with modern trends. These designers will touch on South Asian design sensibility, expanding their businesses to the global marketplace, and the evolution of fashion in both Pakistan and India.

Panelists include designers Faiza Samee, Rabani & Rakha, Ali Xeeshan, Elan by Khadijah Shah, Kamiar Rokni, and Delhi Vintage Co., and examples of their designs will be shown.
