Justice Film Festival 2025: Session 1

The Justice Film Festival showcases films that emphasize social justice and affirm the dignity of all people. Since 2012, JFF has been committed to creating a platform for redemptive stories of marginalized people and ecosystems bravely overcoming challenges and bringing optimism, empathy, and light to a world in need of inspiration.

The Social Justice Center at FIT is proud to partner with JFF for the portion of the festival taking place at the college.

February 10: Session 1, 5–10 pm 
Film and Media Screening Room D207

  • 5 pm: I Am Ready, Warden (Academy Award nominee), followed by Q&A with director Smriti Mundhra, producer Sheila Nevins, and film subject Aaron Castro
  • 6:30 pm: Rule Breakers, followed by Q&A with Roya and Elaha Mahboob
  • 7:30 pm: Plainspoken, followed by Q&A with filmmakers

The film festival is open to the public; it is a ticketed event.
