Lawrence Israel Lecture: Alexandra Champalimaud

The Interior Design Department honors interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud with its 2019 Lawrence Israel Prize. Champalimaud’s design firm has achieved a global notoriety, while maintaining a reputation defined by luxury. Notable projects include the revival of the Algonquin Hotel, the Carlyle in New York, the Four Seasons in Jakarta, and other top hotels around the world, along with inspiring work with restaurants and spas, including the celebrated Troutbeck in upstate New York.

Champalimaud will accept the award and deliver a talk, which will be followed by a book signing.
