MR Magazine Menswear Talk: So You Want to Be a Fashion Designer?

The Menswear Department presents a panel discussion on the menswear industry featuring designers from
three successful menswear brands. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.

Panelists will be:

Zachary Prell (men’s apparel)
Edward Armah (men’s accessories)
Courtenay Nearburg and Mike Rubin from Krammer & Stoudt

The panel will be moderated by MR Magazine’s editor in chief Karen Alberg and web editor Stephen Garner, and will touch on the following:

*How these designers get started in the business
*Their product, distribution, and marketing strategy and how this has changed
*How to get into the right stores. The pros and cons of selling direct
*Successes and mistakes: What they’ve learned (or what they’d do differently if they could go back…)
