The Best Versions of Ourself Wellness Series — Begins

March 17

Join the Diversity Collective Academic Administrative Subcommittee (DCAAS) in a paced wellness series March 17–April 30, where we invite our FIT community members to reconnect with colleagues and renew our spirits with the changing of seasons.

Explore and complete the wellness activities identified on a bingo card, which you can request by filling out this Google form or find a hard copy that will be distributed to campus offices. With each activity, a DCAAS member will initial your way to discovering a best version of yourself.

Can’t complete every activity? No need. Participate as you can. Each step we take to connect with each other and ourselves is another day that we’ve made progress towards developing our personal growth.


Check off the following activities and fill out your bingo card:

ANYTIME: Connect with Colleagues at a Local Cafe or Restaurant
Schedule a meal with a colleague or colleagues off campus between March 17 and April 30. Initial and date each other’s bingo card.

ANYTIME: Engage in a Spiritual Activity (meditation, prayer, mindfulness, etc.)
Select an activity that resonates with you between March 17 and April 30. Initial and date your own bingo card.

Tuesday, March 25, 1–2 pm: Attend an Employee Connections Group
The Employee Connections Group is a place where we come together to get to know each other better and build a sense of belonging throughout the FIT community. Join the DCAAS members in the Dubinsky Student Center, Room A802.

Monday, March 31, 1–2 pm: Join a Group Journaling Session
Take a few minutes to journal with your colleagues on Monday, March 31, anytime between 1 and 2 pm in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Office, Dubinsky Student Center, Room A608D. The first members of the community to join will receive a Diversity Collective notebook and pen.

Thursday, April 3, 9 am–4 pm: Visit the “Read to Relax” Section of Gladys Marcus Library
Use your FIT ID to check out a book from the “Read to Relax” section in the Gladys Marcus Library on Thursday, April 3 between 9 and 4 pm or by appointment March 17–April 30. See DCAAS member Maria Rothenberg for her initials.

Tuesday, April 8, 1–2 pm: Attend an Employee Wellness Workout Session
Join the Diversity Collective at a cardio kickboxing class on Tuesday, April 8, 1–2 pm in Room AX39 in the Dubinsky Student Center basement. Bring your workout clothes and sneakers and kick your stress away. Get initials from any of the DCAAS members in attendance. If you are unable to attend on April 8, seek initials from the class instructor of the employee wellness workout session you participated in.

Tuesday, April 22, 1 pm: Complete the Campus Crawl with Colleagues
Join special guest and the DCAAS on a short campus walk on Tuesday, April 22, at 1 pm, meeting in the Feldman Center Lobby. If you missed the March 25 Employee Connections Group, join Connections “On the Road” with this campus crawl to complete a 2-for-1 bingo card square.

Tuesday, April 29, noon–1 pm: Express Gratitude
Show your appreciation by writing a gratitude card or note of thanks on Tuesday, April 29, anytime between noon and 1 pm in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Office, Dubinsky Student Center, Room A608D. Thank you cards will be supplied.
