Kick Butts Day
FIT will take part Kick Butts Day, a national day of activism that empowers youth to stand out, speak up and seize control against Big Tobacco. There will be an informational table in the Breezeway about going tobacco-free. Giveaways and refreshments will be supplied. The table will be available from 8 to 9 am and again from noon to 2 pm. Info Session: Connection Our Community Grants
The Connecting Our Community program was created as part of the Goal 3 of the Strategic Plan—”Provide an Empowering Student Experience in a Cohesive Community.” It is an initiative intended to provide students, faculty and staff the opportunity to network, mingle, and collaborate in social settings that cross academic and artistic disciplines. The Clothesline Project
FIT supports the Clothesline Project, a visual display that bears witness to the relationship violence. During the public display, a clothesline is hung with shirts; each shirt is decorated to represent a particular person’s experience, by the survivor themselves or by someone who cares about them.
