Dressing Princesses: Documents and Designs for the Period Costume in Korea
As part of the Primary Sources in Costume/Textile History series, the History of Art Department presents Minjung E. Lee, a visiting scholar at University of California-Davis and a costume designer for the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), who will speak on historical Korean costume. This lecture will be of particular interest to those involved in textile conservation, art/museum studies, fashion design, and those curious about Korean dress and textiles. Chalk FIT and Brick FIT Exhibition and Reception
The Illustration BFA students and alumni of the School of Art and Design will be at a reception to reveal their Chalk FIT creations on the walls of FIT. This year, the markable surfaces have extended down 28th Street to include brick wall that is to be painted with acrylics, titled Brick FIT.
