Diversity Grants Workshop
The Diversity Council holds a workshop to demonstrate how to apply for an FIT Diversity Grant. President Brown established Diversity Grants to encourage educational projects, scholarly research, creative endeavors, and professional activities that promote the council’s goals of diversity and inclusion. A total of $15,000 is awarded in maximum amounts of $5,000 for each winning proposal. FIT Board of Trustees Meeting
The FIT Board of Trustees holds its December meeting at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, 141 Flushing Ave., Building 77, Eighth Floor. This meeting is open to the public, but there is a campus-based location to view the meeting for those not able to attend in person: Rita and Bruce Roberts Room, Ninth Floor, Feldman Center. Checking In on Food, Fashion, and Gender: Researching for an Exhibition
Lara Roessig. The major exhibition Food & Fashion, on display at The Museum at FIT through November 26, explores the dynamic and exciting relationships between the two related topics.
