Art and Design Gallery Talk: Picturing Space

Picturing Space is a conversation among FIT students, alumni, faculty, and guest artists. Some artists react to the physical structures of the city by incorporating photography into their work. Others are inspired by the endless construction and deconstruction that surrounds us or interpret the city as a metaphor and construct spaces that symbolize home and shelter.

Ten of the artists in the exhibition will participate in an informal gallery talk on the relationship of their work to architecture and the five key words that underlie the exhibition concept:
