FIT Authors Talks: Fashion, Identity, and Power in Modern Asia with Kyunghee Pyun

Kyunghee Pyun and cover of her bookFIT Associate Professor Kyunghee Pyun will focus on the process of introducing and developing modernity in a particular sector of society—how to dress—in East Asia during a tumultuous period of great change in the early twentieth century. Based on the book Fashion, Identity, and Power in Modern Asia, the editor, Kyunghee Pyun, explains the process of modernization of East Asian clothing during that juncture in history.
