Globally Connected 2023: Meet Our New Faculty—Part 1

In this virtual event, meet FIT’s new School of Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty members and learn about the global aspects of their research!

Amanda Page-Hoongrajok is an assistant professor in the Department of Social Sciences in Science-Economics, and holds a PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master’s from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Her research focuses on the intersection of macroeconomic policy and state-local government finance. She is also interested in economic education and pedagogy.

Walter Temple is an associate professor of French and Francophone Studies. Prior to joining the faculty at FIT, he taught French and Francophone Studies in Washington, D.C., Miami, Detroit, and Salt Lake City. In his scholarship, he examines questions of identity as they relate to the marginalized traveler-writer. He also specializes in French and North African queer cinema. His work has been presented at conferences in Africa, Australia, Europe, and North America.
