Presidential Scholars Colloquium: The Secret Trio

The Secret Trio is an instrumental group made up of three musicians: Ismail Lumanovski (clarinet), Tamer Pinarbasi (kanun) and Ara Dinkjian (oud). Their music has united their cultural diversity (Ara is Armenian, Tamer is Turkish and Ismail is Macedonian.) They called their group The Secret Trio because they focus on music that musicians played just for themselves. Now they are letting others in on their secret.
