At this Presidential Scholars Colloquium, the internationally acclaimed Tardo Hammer Trio will be joined by tenor saxophonist Julieta Eugenio.

Argentina-born saxophonist Eugenio has been rapidly making her presence known on the New York jazz scene, performing at numerous venues in the metropolitan area. She won the International Women in Jazz competition in 2017 and has been featured on WBGO jazz radio as well as WABC News.

Tardo Hammer is a New York jazz pianist whose deft artistry has graced the bandstands of legends from Annie Ross, Lou Donaldson, and Art Farmer through Junior Cook, Lionel Hampton, and Abbey Lincoln. He and trio mates Lee Hudson and Steve Williams will swing their way through a delectable assortment of jazz originals, ballads, standards, and bop.
