Busra Erkara, a writer and editor based in Istanbul, will discuss women’s agency and murders in Turkey with Souzeina Mushtaq, visiting assistant professor of Communication and Media Studies, University of Wisconsin–River Falls.

The Department of Social Sciences’ World Affairs Lecture Series fulfills FIT’s mission to foster an understanding of diverse cultures and politics within the international as well as domestic perspectives. It also embraces, supports, and expands upon the president’s campuswide initiative on civility.

This lecture is presented in partnership with the Presidential Scholars program.
