Kyoto Nishijin Textiles Weaving and Dyeing Workshop
Shiro Ohe is a third-generation weaver from the Nishijin district of Kyoto, Japan. Nishijin has been a center for luxury textile production for more than a thousand years, providing textiles for the imperial family as well as wealthy citizens. Ohe is a member of Itohen Universe, a group of seven people, including a dyeing artist, textile artist, model, and costume artist.
