Photography Faculty Member Awarded Fellowship in 3D Visualization

Brian Emery was awarded a one-month fellowship in 3D visualization at the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library in Williamsburg, VA, by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation; the fellowship is funded in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. During his residency in Williamsburg, Emery will be working with historians and 3D visualization experts to continue his long-term art project of exploring historical space through 3D scans and 3D-printed photographs. He will also be giving lectures about the project for the community of artists and historians in Southeastern Virginia, as well as mounting exhibitions of the final pieces. The residency will take place in June. For more information, contact Brian Emery, 75508.
