Daniel Gerger will assume the position of executive director for the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies July 1. He joins FIT from Bloomfield College in New Jersey, where he is the director of operations and professional studies in the Office of International Training and Professional Studies. He has almost 20 years’ experience in higher education, much of it focused on adult education, assisting nontraditional students in pursuing degrees and certificates in degree and nondegree programs. He has also worked at Manhattanville College and Saint Peter’s College in New Jersey. He is co-founder and president of Adult Education Advocates, an organization that assists adults in the enrollment process of applying for college. Gerger earned his MPA in public policy from the Robert Wagner School of Public Service at NYU.
