Susanne Goetz, Textile/Surface Design, and Jeffrey Riman, Center for Excellence in Teaching (CET), presented on June 1 at the 25th Annual Conference on Instruction & Technology (CIT 2016) in Potsdam, NY. Their talk, “Giving Students a Voice,” was on fostering student engagement using the web-based application VoiceThread in a classroom setting. Several case studies and pedagogic scenarios were offered, followed by a hands-on session where attendees shared experiences.
