Judging the Future of Fashion

Every student at FIT has an eye for innovation, pushing the boundaries of design while ensuring impeccable execution. In particular, graduating Fashion Design BFA students demonstrate their forward-thinking prowess by working with industry critics to create one-of-a-kind garments during their final semester.

Each of these projects demonstrates creativity and expertise, but the Future of Fashion, the college’s annual runway show presented by Calvin Klein and the Calvin Klein Foundation, can only feature the most outstanding garments. Selecting the designs that make it to the runway is a challenging task, and FIT brings in fashion media professionals of the highest stature to make the final decision.
