In a few short days, the best work by FIT’s graduating Fashion Design BFA students will hit the runway at the Future of Fashion, the annual show presented by Calvin Klein and the Calvin Klein Foundation. The energy in the room is always palpable, and all eyes will be on the models, but the night’s real stars are the students who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to creating one incredible show.
During their final semester, the students work with industry professionals and critics, who provide invaluable critiques, guidance, and support. In the end, the most exceptional garments from each design specialization — Sportswear, Intimate Apparel, Children’s Wear, Knitwear, and Special Occasion — earn the coveted Critic Award.
