2017 FIT Interior Design AAS graduate Regan Adair has been recognized as the residential design winner in the 7th annual Sherwin-Williams Student Design Challenge. The contest, which students may enter as individuals or in teams, awards a $2,500 prize and a feature in STIR Magazine to the top entries in residential and commercial categories. In addition, the design department of each winning student’s school is awarded $1,000.

Designers Cynthia Rowley and Vern Yip, along with Sue Wadden, director of color marketing at Sherwin-Williams, were this year’s judges. The contest asks applicants to include a minimum of three Sherwin-Williams paint colors in their submissions. “The winners stood out this year because of the risks they took to bring color to life in unexpected ways,” said Wadden.
