New FIT students arrived on campus this week, and the families who dropped them off could do so with peace of mind. That’s because a new report by CollegeStats.org named the college as one of the safest in the nation.
Of the 100 schools evaluated, FIT had the second lowest rate of crime on campus. New York City proved to be a safe haven for higher education, as CUNY York College and the New York Institute of Technology also fell within the top ten.
