Library Technology User Services Is Now Part of IT Educational Technology and Desktop Services

Library Technology User Services, a unit managed by the Gladys Marcus Library and led by Jana Duda, is now part of Educational Technology and Desktop Services in the Division of Information Technology, and is led by Meredith Perkins.

The consolidation creates a single team with complete oversight of technology services for students and faculty. The combined unit is responsible for: planning, delivering, measuring, improving, and finding ways to innovate in academic, student, and library technology services; computer labs; PrintFx; FabLab; and the digital asset management systems provided by the library.

Additionally, the new unified structure provides team members with improved opportunities to enhance their skill sets and to develop their careers.

Further organizational changes will follow as Duda and Perkins assess responsibilities and workflows within the new integrated group.
