In its third annual Global Fashion School rankings, the Business of Fashion placed FIT second in the United States and seventh in the world for undergraduate fashion programs. The college’s graduate programs were also celebrated. FIT’s new MFA in Fashion Design program earned fifth place in the international rankings of graduate fashion programs. These rankings also named FIT as the fourth best graduate business program worldwide.
Fashionista also applauded FIT’s fashion programs, placing the college second and fourth on its “Top Ten Fashion Schools in the U.S.” and “25 Best Fashion Schools In the World” lists, respectively.
Rest assured that FIT students are safe within the heart of Manhattan. Collegestats.org listed FIT as the campus with the second lowest rate of crime within the United States.
An FIT education pays off. According to Payscale.com, FIT ranks first in the nation among public community colleges for alumni median mid-career salaries and seventh in the nation for all community colleges.
