C.J. Yeh and Christie Shin, Communication Design, recently won HOW International Design Awards in two categories: invitation design and poster design. The Invitation Design Merit Award was given to the #TIME exhibition invitation card, which utilized augmented reality (AR) technology to embed an additional layer of interactivity into the Postmodernist design style (click here to watch a demonstration of the AR technology). The Poster Design Merit Award was given to the 2016 Diversity Council grant project Impactful Language, which included a series of 40 large-scale posters designed to call awareness to the power of language.
