Stroll through the hallway outside the Great Hall from now through September 25, and you’ll see the work of the Illustration BFA Class of 2019. The open call for Junior Illustration students was a chance for the Illustration department to share the class’s work with the FIT community and features a great deal of traditional illustration and painting as well as digital media. The exhibition was curated by the illustrator Margaret Hewitt.
While hard-pressed to select a favorite from among the work, associate professor and coordinator of the exhibition William Low said: “The entire show stands out for me for many reasons and I am drawn to these students’ technical skill and the development of their individual voices.”
