Two Rankings Recognize FIT for Its Exceptional Value

As a community college within the State University of New York system, FIT offers an outstanding education at an affordable cost. Two recent rankings have recognized that stellar return on investment (ROI).
Value Colleges, an independent online guide for prospective students, ranked FIT’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design as the sixth best value among accredited programs in the field nationwide. The site took into account the college’s reputation, based on student reviews from the well-known recommendation site Niche; the cost of tuition; and median alumni salary, culled from the U.S. government’s College Scorecard.
College Consensus, a rankings aggregator, placed FIT’s two online programs at number 19 for ROI among all online colleges. The site used data from salary comparison site PayScale, taking into account both the cost of the degree and the expected salary after graduation. FIT offers a one-year associate’s degree in Fashion Business Management and a two-year bachelor’s completion program in International Trade and Marketing, which requires at least 60 credits to transfer. “FIT is widely recognized as the foremost fashion school in the nation,” College Consensus wrote, “and graduates enjoy an impressively high ROI in a highly competitive occupation.”
