Yet again, FIT has been ranked as the best of the best for fashion-related careers.
In December, Fashionista, an online magazine geared toward all things fashion, included FIT in its annual list of “The Top 25 Fashion Schools in the World,” based on tuition costs, alumni success, and survey feedback. FIT has always placed high on the list; this year, Fashionista did away with rankings to emphasize the unique strengths and weaknesses of each program.
The editors praised FIT for its wide range of majors, deepening focus on sustainability, industry connections, and the “exceptional” Museum at FIT, and its chief curator, Valerie Steele, who “gives this school a brainy credibility.”
